INDIA DAY 8

I can’t believe that I have been in India for more than a week. It feels like just yesterday we were arriving from our 24-hour day of travel. I have learned so much since I have been in Mysore and still have much to learn. I have learned about the food and culture of India and how beautiful and meaningful it is. I now know my way around the area and walk freely with the other girls, the people here are so nice and welcoming that I feel at home. Through the lectures I have learned about the health disparities in India and the different parts of the healthcare system that needs to be fixed. I have met some of the most amazing men, women, and doctors who put their whole life into helping the people in their community, to bring medical care to those you don’t have access to it. I just hope that one day I can make a difference the way they are.

Best,

Caileigh
